Nice work, Dusty. Can't believe there's so much involved with one play.

Why on 4th and 2 did the Vikings leave the line of scrimmage so naked and why didn't we take advantage of it with even Love running up through the middle? It was one of the few times they didn't pressure Love so it's a shame it wasn't completed.

The next time they face cover 2 man they need to have a designed run or two ready for Love. A big run by the QB is one way to get teams away from that coverage in a hurry. You don't see it against running QBs unless it's 3rd and 10 and even then against the Lamar's and Josh's you better be spying.

Would have been interesting and probably a TD if Kraft continues across field instead of cutting right. Well, I know it was 4th down but did ML do the same play call later in the game with our WR's or TE doing a change-up to the previous route for a completion. That's what ML will have to do for us to get into the show.....immediate changes to routes for success when successfully defended initially.

A pass in stride to Reed might have also been a TD. Ah well, I've watched a lot of football and even the best miss some.

I was screaming when I saw they went for it! I was furious when they didn't get it. I don't care how MLF spins it or how complex the above play was after the fact, it was a risky call in an important game when all sure points were needed.

i'd rather be 50% on fourth downs and score a touchdown than kick two field goals. it shows a belief in your team and a commitment to win.

I so disagree Bitter. "One in the hand, ..." Going on 4 th down so early was a desperate, impatient call. I would argue that taking the 3 points would show a commitment that you know your team can still come back even though u didn't get a TD this early in the game.

Unfortunately, you are correct. Matt kicked it early, for the first 3 and you know he wanted to go for it. He always wants to go for it, and this short passing game is not consistent enough for that, especially on the road.... And yeah it's easy to say after the fact, but my guess is most fans were saying take the damn points before the play was called. Matt got impatient, it was not a tactical decision, it was an emotional one.
