Great analysis Dusty! It really underscores how what looked like an underthrow by Love was really an incorrectly run route by Wicks. Boy, Wicks had a Jekyll and Hyde game yesterday.

I decided not to blame the receivers. They just spend two weeks running routes knowing that the ball was going to be a short screen to the out, a run, or a mini pass to the flat. Willis was not going to be lighting it up down field so pea brain LeFluer didnt get it that he just took all the practicing the receivers trained for and threw it out the window to fit Willis weak arm and zero understanding of our scheme.
They should have been dam rusty in my opinion. Did notice the Vikes receivers caught almost everything thrown to them.

-Wicks was still open, very difficult to catch a low pass while sprinting across the field.
- Why throw it into tight double coverage when there were better options?
