Seahawks Release WR Michael Jones

The Seattle Seahawks have released first-year wide receiver Michael Jones, reports John Boyle for the Everett Herald.

Originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State in 2009, the 6-4, 212-pound Jones spent the final nine weeks of the 2009 season on Seattle's practice squad.

Jones returned one punt for 0 yards in two preseason games with the Texans' last summer.
