Panthers Waive RB Josh Vaughan

According to a league source, the Carolina Panthers have placed running back Josh Vaughan on waivers.

Vaughan, signed off the Buffalo Bills' practice squad on November 9, was active for all three games he was with the Panthers, carrying the ball three times for 7 yards and a touchdown.

Though he was active the last two weeks, Vaughan's playing time was largely relegated to special teams as Mike Goodson handled the rushing load while Jonathan Stewart was sidelined with a concussion.

Stewart had 12 carries for 98 yards in his first game back against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
