The Detroit Lions signed rookie free agent linebacker Korey Bosworth on Tuesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Rookie fullback Richard Dickson has been "Waived/Injured".
Bosworth (6-1, 237) was a two-year starter at UCLA, totaling 154 tackles, including 33.5 for a loss and 11 quarterback sacks. Bosworth also had 16 passes defensed, blocked a kick, and recovered two fumbles, returning one for a touchdown during his four-year college career.
Bosworth signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent, and has been a free agent since being waived on June 16.
Bosworth's twin brother, Kyle, is in Jacksonville Jaguars training camp, and his uncle is Brian Bosworth, a former linebacker with the Seattle Seahawks who was the subject of an article by Danny O'Neil in the Seattle Times on Sunday.
