Leroy Hill "Super Happy" To Be Back With Seahawks

After missing most of the team's "Organized Team Activity" sessions and mini-camps after a domestic violence arrest in early April, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill has returned to the team.

And he's glad to be back.

"I'm super happy," said Hill, according to Greg Johns of seattlepi.com. "I missed my teammates. I missed playing football the whole time. I'm happy to be back.

"I just took that time to reflect," Hill added. "I missed football and realized I loved football. Not being able to play it sort of hurt, so I rededicated myself to playing football and being the best person I could be."

Hill has met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and Johns confirmed with head coach Pete Carroll that the team had heard enough from the league to where it felt comfortable bringing Hill back in the fold.

"It's just gone through enough time and we've seen the reports come back from the commissioner's meetings and their evaluations and all that," Carroll said on Tuesday. "It doesn't mean anything is concluded at all. He still has some court appearances ahead, but just playing off the commissioner's feel on that, we've taken the lead from him.

"We wanted to know where the league stood on this and what stance they were going to take. They haven't come to any final conclusion yet either, but they did give us enough information that we know how to progress from here. He wants to be part of this thing and is ready to get going."
