Hanburger, Richter Senior Nominees for Class of 2011

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Seniors Committee named former Washington Redskins linebacker Chris Hanburger and former Los Angeles Rams linebacker/kicker Les Richter as their nominees for induction with the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2011.
Hanburger spent 14 seasons with the Redskins, earning nine trips to the Pro Bowl and was named All-NFL on four occasions. Originally property of the Dallas Texans, Richter's rights were traded to the Rams, where Richter spent nine seasons, earning eight trips to the Pro Bowl.
Richter passed away in June.
To be selected, each senior nominee will need to receive 80% of the vote from the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The vote on the 2011 Hall of Fame Class will take place on Saturday, February 5 in Dallas, Texas.
