Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin Relieved Injury Wasn't Serious

Two days after being carted off the field with what appeared to be a serious knee injury, Philadelphia Eagles second-year wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is relieved that he'll only miss a few days, reports Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News.

"I'm blessed and I'm thankful that it didn't turn out as bad as it could have," said Maclin. "I'm happy that it is what it is; I mean, I wish I was out there competin', but now I've got to get better and get out there as soon as I can."

Maclin said he has a bone bruise in his left knee, and head coach Andy Reid said Maclin "did some running inside" today, Bowen adds.
