Eagles G Todd Herremans Says Left Foot Will Be Fine

One of the concerns for the Philadelphia Eagles this summer is the interior offensive line. Veteran center Jamaal Jackson is recovering from a torn ACL, and Todd Herremans and Stacy Andrews, the projected starters at guard, are both injury risks.

Herremans missed most of the Eagles' OTAs this off-season with pain from a stress fracture in his left foot, which kept him out of the first five games of the 2009 season. Herremans had surgery on the foot, and visited a specialist in North Carolina, but insists his foot isn't an issue.

"It will be fine," Herremans tells Mike Mattson of the Muskegon Chronicle. "I had to get it looked at in the off-season. I had to make sure it was suitable and I can play on it. The doctor said everything is playable. I’ll be alright."

With an inexperienced Kevin Kolb replacing Donovan McNabb as the starting quarterback, a cohesive offensive line is a must.

"We shuffled all season on the offensive line," Herremans said of the '09 Eagles. "Right now, we’re all in place and that will be huge for us."

The Eagles rookies, two of whom remain unsigned, report to camp on July 25. Veterans are due to report on July 29.
