The Miami Dolphins announced the signing of defensive lineman Ryan Baker off their practice squad.

Rookie defensive end Rob Rose has been waived.

In his second season out of Purdue, Baker (6-5, 295) appeared in five games for the Dolphins in 2009, totaling two tackles, including a half-sack against the Buffalo Bills in his NFL debut that he split with Jason Taylor.
