According to a league source, the Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent defensive tackle Marlon Favorite.
Favorite was waived by the Buffalo Bills last week.
The former LSU defensive tackle went undrafted in 2009, signing with with the Carolina Panthers. Favorite posted six tackles, including one for a loss, during the pre-season, but didn't make the Panthers' 53-man roster and was waived in September.
Favorite spent parts of 2009 on the practice squads of the St. Louis Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, and Seattle Seahawks. In January, Favorite joined the New Orleans Saints' practice squad for their Super Bowl run, but was not offered a "Reserve/Futures" contract following the season.
Favorite joined the Bills on March 2.
In addition to Favorite, the Colts also signed first-year cornerback Pete Ittersagen (Wheaton College), who had six tackles and an interception for the Jacksonville Jaguars during the '09 pre-season. Former University of Regina wide receiver Jordan Sisco, who participated in the Colts' post-draft mini-camp, also signed with the Colts on Monday.
Sisco (6-1, 212) caught 141 passes for 2,051 yards and 11 touchdowns during his college career, earning All-Star honors after his junior and senior seasons.
