After waiving guard Andy Alleman over the weekend, the Indianapolis Colts have claimed guard Adrian Martinez off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks.

Martinez was waived by the Seahawks on August 7 to make room for linebacker Alvin Bowen.

The 6-3, 318-pound Martinez was a four-year starter for Colorado State University, playing guard and right tackle. Martinez was not invited to the 2010 Scouting Combine, but impressed scouts with his strength by doing 37 reps on the bench press.

Earlier this month, the Seahawks claimed guard Gregg Peat off waivers from the Colts.
