Grew up in Green Bay during Lombardi era ... sat in children's section with my brother until 1971. Was once picked up hitch hiking by Bart & Cherry Starr, going from Allouez to downtown on a drizzly spring day. Another time Paul Hornung invited me into his girlfriend's home - to sit down with him on the couch for a few minutes - while she went to get change for Milwaukee Sentinel deliveries. Walking through Vince Lombardi's side yard leading down to the railroad tracks and the Fox River. Great memories. Don't miss the mosquitoes or humidity however. :)
One look at Packers defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt's production when he's on the field tells you what a difference maker he could be if he could just stay on the field.
It's been 30 years since Brett Favre led the Packers to their 3rd Super Bowl championship. The 1996 team was one of the most dominating teams in the Super Bowl era.
