The "card" I play if I'm the GM is to dangle one of the 2 kickers in a trade to AFC team for any kind of DB. It would hardly seem right to trade away Lukas Havrisik after coming in as a clinch under such pressure....but wish him best in a trade to have a full time job. More cards have to be played before trade deadline.

Yup, we need CB and DT. If we stash our backup kicker on the PS he gets swiped, and we get nothing for him. The only way we could keep both is if McManus needs to go on IR or something.

Now the only question is if Gutey continues his youth movement, or stays with the veteran. I'm glad I don't have to make that decision.

After not missing a kick over 2 games, including that 61 yarder, he would never clear waivers to make it to the PS anyway.

Kind of an odd situation the Packers find themselves in. I have to assume once McManus is healthy, they will stick with the proven veteran with the much longer track record.

No idea what Havrisik would bring in a trade. I'm having a hard time remembering the last time a kicker has been part of a trade. I'm sure it has been happened but....
