As the Green Bay Packers return to the practice field on Thursday to continue their preparations for the Miami Dolphins, there will be ample opportunity to get updates from the head coach.

Mike McCarthy will first join SiriusXM NFL Radio for his weekly interview at 11:30 a.m. CT.

And then following practice, he'll hold his usual press conference at approximately 2:00 p.m. to be streamed live at Packers.com.

Among the topics observers will be waiting to hear about will be the status of defensive lineman Datone Jones, who didn't practice on Wednesday with a sprained ankle.

McCarthy, however, did classify Jones as being "day to day," which gives the impression he could return to practice at any moment.

Also of note are the injuries to defensive lineman Josh Boyd (knee) and linebacker Sam Barrington (hamstring), each of whom were listed as "limited" participants in practice a day earlier.

The Packers will want to see if Boyd and Barrington can go from limited to full before Sunday's game.

During the evening hours, safety Micah Hyde will co-host his weekly radio show 1 on 1 with the Boys on 101.1 FM WIXX in Green Bay at 6:00 p.m.

Hyde will bring a yet-to-be-named player guest with him, and the show will also be streamed online with audio at WIXX.com and video on their Ustream player.
