There appears to be some confusion about Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Perry and his injured wrist.

Perry was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report by the Packers, the first of the week. But when asked by reporters, head coach Mike McCarthy called him a "full" participant.

There's concern about Perry because a broken wrist ended his rookie season after just six games, having been placed on season-ending injured reserve.

McCarthy either didn't know or declined to say whether Perry's injury was related to the one suffered in 2012.

And that's on top of a broken bone in his heel that forced him to miss five games in 2013.

So far this season, Perry hasn't missed a game, but his injury history makes him worth monitoring as the week progresses.

The Packers practice again on Thursday as they continue to get ready for this upcoming Sunday's game against the Bears in Chicago.

After practice, another injury report will again be released, and a couple of players will be closely scrutinized to see whether they can go from limited to full participation.

In addition to Perry, fellow linebackers Clay Matthews (groin) and Brad Jones (quad) were also listed as limited participants on Wednesday.
