I've heard a lot of doom and gloom about the Packers last night and today.
Lets ponder something......
2024 season, WITHOUT Parsons.
The Packers defense ranked 6th. Not too shabby, right?
The scoring defense gave up 19.9 PPG. I'll take that all day long!! Been awhile before that since the defense was under 20 PPG.
The 2024 Packer team also had a +122 point differential.
i mean 🤷♂️
Do we lose something without Parsons, of course we do.
Should we go sit in the corner and cry about it?
Should we cry and whine about the refs?
Packer Nation is better than that....or so i thought

Blind refs are a growing problem. I have no idea what any amount of fans might be able to do to fix it, but pretending it's not a real and growing problem is not on the list.
I've always hated the term and even the concept of "momentum;" seems to me like just an excuse to do less than your best when things go wrong. I'm surprised I haven't heard any pundits use the word in conjunction with this rash of injuries, or any of them.
I still love this team, there's still tons of talent all over the field and and there are still 3 regular season games to play. Trying to predict what might happen seems like a fool's errand now, but everybody doing their best should not be a variable. Some magical balance of teamwork and coaching might snag more wins? At the very least more players get opportunity to develop.

Is there a difference between an excuse and a reason? I think there is.
Parsons is irreplaceable, but every week in the NFL teams have won games without Parsons, so it's possible.
The Bears are salivating. A wounded Packer team is coming in and they can basically win the division by beating us. They narrowly lost just over a week ago when we were closer to full strength. So, this is unlikely to be a walk in the park, and we're going to have to play really well to have a chance.
I'm not sure how we move the ball without Tom and Watson.

I feel like we’re gonna give the bears all they can handle.

Hopefully we give them 6 O linemen a whole lot. I don't see much chance with only five but will watch with interest ...

This isn’t the Urlacher bears their defense is not good without turnovers. Take care of the ball don’t commit costly penalties and you can score on them fairly often they’re not a great defense.
