Let’s just get win 813 next week

I believe that is the correct number

And get Matt’s 73rd win of all time.

Dear Sir, I believe it was Mr McCarren on the radio broadcast who warned that the left side of the FG blocking was bad on the first successful attempt. Bisaccia has barely improved matters since 2021. Such disasters are likely to occur again. Take care, James

And yet, Bisaccia was showered with accolades when he arrived.

I'll say it again 9: The Nature of Special Teams is that it's the bottom of the roster. Other than your placement trio (Kicker, Holder/Punter, Snapper), they're all minimum wage rookie/UDFA types....cheap, inexperienced.

Now, we can let these guys actually try to change the game, OR, we can play it safe and not give them opportunities to hurt the team. I'm in favor of safe. Take these big plays in the kicking game away from your opponent.

I can remember a guy trying to 'change a game' bout 10 years ago.
His name was Brandon Bostick.
Sadly, he succeeded.

As much as I recall Bostick. I recall the Seahawks FG attempt —points that would not have mattered. The only thing that mattered was a fake FG to obtain a first down—which they of course converted. I recall our LB (Jones), crashing towards the kicker with zero thought of protecting the perimeter. I asked myself what the coaches were thinking not to have advised the situational awareness.
… and that reminds me of what is occurring now with MLF and Love. The ridiculous Love INT was/is crazy stupid!

I believe the pressure on the blocked field goal came over R Walker and T Kraft. Hardly the bottom of our roster.

I would agree, disciplined excellence on special teams has not been noticeable since he was hired.

Warning sign: We need the offensive line to run block successfully.
That helps the offense in a multitude of ways.
I don't think the problem is Jacobs.

A 3.1 YPG average isn't going to cut it, nor is the 1.9 ypr going to cut it against the Browns, i don't care how good the Browns are at stopping the run. Less than 2 yards for Josh Jacobs?
Can't happen!!
For this team to succeed, Jacobs has to do what he does. Right now, he's being hit at, or near the LOS.

Dallas defense gives up damn near 400 yards a game. A cure for what ails the Packers?
I think so, lets move on!
It's a week to week league.
Lets do this!

Right ‘75. The Cowboys secondary is nearly nonexistent. If we can’t pass against them, we’re in trouble.

If MLF has "taken the deep ball away from JL10" we're in trouble.

I don't think there was a lot of opportunity for the deep ball against the Browns.

they have to get that running game going somehow....wasting Jacobs running into the pile for 2 yards or as a blocker for Love...although with this crap O line he has to be used like that many times I know....

Exceptional athletes perform at their peak when the stakes are highest,
demonstrating their skill, focus, and ability to thrive under pressure
to deliver winning performances in crucial situations.

That isn't asking for OMG plays.
Nobody is asking that of Love.
Were only asking him to play the position
like it should be played.
Team mistakes ,penalties, and personal changes happen.
The sticking point is the horror plays that have become
part of his MO at the worst times.

Running game needs to get going.

Only week 4 time to correct problems.

Being under pressure is good.

Pressure creates Diamonds…

Aside from injuries on the o-line, they need to stop square peg / round holng it.
Just start and leave Morgan at LG. Same with Belton at RT. Kinnard is next man up.
I would look at poaching a center off another teams practice squad though.
Cole Strange and Jake Majors come to mind.
Also bring Hardman or Sheppard up to return punts.

In three games, our #1 pick WR has been targeted 8 times. That's indefensible. I've seen Golden open a ton, but he rarely sees the ball. That may be on Love, not Le Fleur, but then Love has to be coached up on his second and third reads.

And it's not like Doubs or Wicks are seeing many more passes. We're all lamenting the poor running game; well, the passing game is just as bad. This offense, run by an alleged offensive genius, is putrid. Even in the two wins, our offense, aside from Kraft, was boring.

See Buffalo, Baltimore, Detroit... the high-powered offenses - they come out throwing even though Baltimore and Detroit have running backs as good, if not better than Jacobs, in Derrick Henry and Gibbs. They pile up yardage and points. Why?... because they know the way to score in today's NFL is through the air. Make them defend the pass, and the running game will be there. Le Fleur is a thin Woody Hayes with a worse crew cut. He really doesn't know how to utilize our excellent WRs. It's all sideline passes or desperation bombs - and except for a game now and then, an underutilization of Kraft. There's no rhythm to his passing attack.

Le Fleur has to trust his QB and come out firing, and not let his foot off the gas til the game is over. Our defense is one of the best in football. That allows you to take chances, not play conservatively in the first half, then start running out the clock in the 3rd quarter.
