Beating a team you should beat, drops, missed kicks, giving up a lot of rushing yards, nothing to get excited about.

Our offense kept trying to lose, but they couldn't quite do it. At least the quota for dropped passes has been met.

Meanwhile in the next game, Mercedes Big Dog Lewis is still an effective run blocker.

Packer need a back up QB. Nothing wrong with Willis but I believe it is an incredible waste of talent sitting on the bench not being used. He can catch, run, and pass. If you are going to use gadget plays is a game he is the perfect player to utilize. Need to see more of Willis on the field.

Watson—yes!!
I’m extremely disappointed with our defense on 3rd down; especially 3rd and long.
Is this finally our catalyst —let’s keep it moving!

I was at the game. I'm sure it looked as bad on TV as it did live.
Just a pathetic showing, even with the win. We aren't going anywhere with this O line. And today the D gave their qb all day and we were pushed around by a 2 - 8 team with more injuries than we have.
We needed 2 yds for a first and MLF draws up another bomb to Watson. It's almost as if he wants to get fired. OTOH, with all the drops, we might as well go for broke.
We might win some more games, but this team isn't going anywhere without a miracle turn around.
As sad a win as they come.

Totally agree in fact I would be in favor of trading Love or Parsons in the off season. The offensive line needs major improvement & both those guys are overpaid, get some cap help & more draft picks.Would this team really be that much worse with Malik Willis at QB?

There is nothing that I saw today that makes me feel the Packers will meet expectations for 2025.
I would think there will be a lot of new faces next year.
As for this game, a win is a win. Obviously their playoff hopes are very much alive, so we’ll see what happens next week. I have no confidence in this coaching staff , to get them playing at their best.

Glad GB pulled out a "W". Glad someone with a brain sat our kicker to heal 2 weeks 2 late. the obvious needs of a bigger interior DL member or 2 is made painfully obvious....again Gute.....the trade deadline is over...great job there. RB2 ran hard and should have been used more earlier for Jacobs to heal. I would rather just move the chains instead of throw bombs that fall to the ground and then watch our defense run back out there for another 5-7 minute drive by (INSERT NAME)...Giants this game. If we grind the area of our team that is working 90% of the time.....it will lower to our Offenses numbers quickly. Fix the DL...less bombs away...move the chains. Let's work on those three this week. GPG

The Giants played hard, but the headline is apt.

Kudos to Watson, Emmanuel Wilson (in pass pro too), Jacobs early and Savion Williams showing he can run a route and catch. On D, Evan Williams was key. Moseby and Whelan deserve a shout out for STs.

Even though Valentine needs a jugs machine, I’m just glad that he’s consistently between receivers and the ball. As to the rest, Rhyan might yet prove an upgrade. Those drops on offense though …. We really tried hard not to come away winners at times. This won’t cut it against 9 teams in 10. The offense will not find a team it can run on that easily or an opponent that offered so many chances for turnovers to not capitalize on. Thats the Packers, unfortunately. The needle doesn’t move but at least we won.

A lot of DA catches were late hands perfectly timed passes and DA had no more than a foot separation from the coverage with first ballot HOF AR throwing him the ball. JL has shown zero ability to do any of that. A speed merchant with a huge catch radius and great hands would be what JL needs to make him better....

I thought the knuckleheaded media waaay overhyped the Greg Van Roten (GVR) and Jon Runyan Jr (JRJ) revenge game angle. I mean, as if the week-long promos weren't exhausting enough, the way Drew Brees brought it up every other play made me want to shove a #2 pencil in my ear. Sure, Gute was Director of College Scouting when GVR was signed in 2012, but how damn many times do we need to hear the story about Gute making fun of GVR because he was "a Quaker" and has flat feet? Gawd!

And, the JRJ slop wasn't any easier to navigate. Signed for $30 million with the Giants after the Packers offered him minimum wage and free Karuba Coffee refills *for life* at Kwik Trip, gonna make Gute eat crow, has had a picture of Russ Ball in the locker room urinal since June 6, 2024, blah blah blah.

I'm just glad we got the W. The Packers do not seem to be improving as a football team, but every so often they do something very well. I though our pad level looked above average today.

After the last 2 losses I'm grateful to come away with a win. The Packers offense was inconsistent again but they put up enough points to win.
The defense needs to produce a better pass rush. However they were on the field for about 35 minutes and they held off the Giants.
Time to chuck McManus. Move on with Navrisik. Beat the Vikings. Thanks, Since '61

Got a W. So maybe MLF or the organization can find a way to play a two win team with a 3rd string QB the rest of the way out. "Frustrating, mistakes, drops, etc." Go back and watch your previous videos, it's the same, like MLF with the "I've got to be better." Game wasn't televised here again, but just like the Panthers game, I'm following it on the computer and my phone. Looked like it was heading in the same direction.

I saw Charles Woodsen get asked if this win means the Packers are back on track (or something like that) and he answered "No, the Packers should be dominating a team like the Giants." He's right. Next four games, especially in Detroit and in Denver, that will tell you what this team is.

I certainly agree about Gary. He should be doing a LOT more, but he isn't. Neither are the others. Again, without Parsons, they would be fortunate to win 8 to 9 games.

Right now, they're still a practice game for a team if by some chance they make the playoffs.

Anyone who's saying Gary / Parsons aren't doing enough are reading stat sheets instead of watching them play on the field.

As far as the offense, that scoreboard looks a whole heck of a lot different if the Packers don't drop 7 passes on the day. 7 drops is insane.

I just don't get LaFleur's play calling. 4th Qtr, and the D gets a stop on downs after struggling most of the game. Out comes the offense and after a couple of plays, LaFleur dials up a deep shot on a 3rd and 3 when all you needed to do was just get a first down, keep the chains moving, and give the D a chance to rest. You know the rest. The Giants scored on the next drive taking advantage of the gassed defense. It's almost like he's trying to lose. I agree with a previous comment about this team being no better than a practice game for their first opponent in the playoffs (if they make it) at this point. Guess we'll have to wait and see what next year brings, although with money they've already spent and the cap situation being what it is, I think it will be some time before we see any changes.

I don't take issue with occasionally taking those deep shots on 3rd and short- there is something to be said about trying to capitalize on the defense's expectation and catching them off balance- but I don't think MLF has a great feel for when it makes sense to take those gambles in the context of the game as a whole.

The biggest lack-of-feel for playcalling that MLF displays semi-regularly is when it's appropriate to go for it on 4th down or not, in my opinion. I think there are times when being 'ballsy' can pay dividends, but it seems that MLF picks situations where the risk/reward proposition is just not worth it.

Packers are not getting better @ dropped balls-Jordan is already pressured by not having an O-Line and Josh cannot run (same bad OL), so receivers have to catch the ball. if his receivers are still dropping balls 4 years later, what are his alternatives?
Davante stopped dropping balls after his second year
Coaches need to drill these guys, unfortunately. (they should be better) Players should be doing this on their own time, too.

Sadly, looking at the current play, the Vikes are not out of it despite their record. Their defense is far siperior to the bears, packs and lions.
If they gould get McCarthy even halfway decent. they could surprise us.
1. lions are a hot mess. Goff has reverted to his old self when the rams dumped him. 2 for 18 passing?
2. Bears won today but I thought their d was avg at best today. Had it not been McCarthy they would have lost.
3. Packers d is god awful. Vikes will have a big day in Lambeu next week and put themselves right back in the mix.
Its having a great d like the steelers and Denver that keeps you in games. Vikes have the d. be wortied NFC.
